The IIT-Bombay Research Internship Award is intended to be a learning research experience. The IIT Bombay awards are for certain research projects.
Project details are made available to candidates allowing them to apply for projects which are of their interest and so can practice and prepare for a thorough selection routine.
There shall be set number interns who shall be slotted for the projects that have been chosen.
The interns who shall be selected and shall work full time for a period of four to six months and they shall be handed a salary of Rs. 10,000 every month. They also might get accommodation according to the availability.
They shall have to work full time during the internship and part time internship is not allowed. Participants shall have to submit a documents stating that they do not have any course work to during the internship period.
