Now that the IITs s have decided to get accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), we list some of the reasons how it the accreditation will help students.
Students will be benefited as the academic standards of the IIT will improve.  The institutes will also be able to improve their academic standards.
Earlier IIT- Delhi and IIT- Kanpur had showed a improvement in their 2011 positions according to QS ranking. IIT- Delhi has been ranked as 212 whereas IIT- Kanpur has been ranked 278.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is ranked as the world’s best university.
Oxford University was placed at number five in the table compiled by QS World University Rankings.
IITs have also been asked to work towards reinforcing the brand so that it has better chances of making it to prestigious 'QS Ranking' of best institutions.
IITs have decided to continue with this year's format of JEE (advanced) test without any change.
