Placements 2013: IIT-Madras students get Rs. 92L offer from Google:
Three students of IIT-Madras have received 92 lakh packages from Google. Students who have received the offer are from the Computer science background. The students who received the offer are Guru Prakash, Santhosh Kumar N.and Kavin Karthik.
The three students were selected by Google to intern with the company for three months in Bangalore. After completion of their projects, they were interviewed.
The students stated that the work culture of Google is the best thing and are ecstatic to join the company.
Another student Himanshu Jindal a computer engineering student of Delhi Technological University (DTU) has been offered a package of Rs 93 lakh and 125 stock units by Google, USA.
The next highest offer of Rs 70 lakh per year was made to 11 students.
